블로거들이 모여서 대한민국 경제를 이야기해 보는 자리를 만들려고 합니다. 큰 주제를 경제로 잡았지만 너무 거창하게 생각할 건 없습니다. 청년실업이나 데이트 비용, 날마다 반복되는 야근, 휴대전화 요금 등등 아무 주제나 좋습니다. 자신있게 올해 한국경제 전망을 하셔도 좋고 장바구니 물가 이야기도 좋고 대학 등록금 이야기도 좋습니다. 대형 마트나 비정규직 이슈도 좋습니다. 주식투자 성공 또는 실패 경험도 재미있겠지요?
발표시간은 각각 5~10분씩, 최대 20명의 발표자를 모집합니다. 날짜는 1월23일 토요일 오후 2시, 장소는 아직 확정되지 않았습니다. 전체적인 진행은 '이그나이트(ignite) 서울'과 비슷하게 가려고 합니다. 자원봉사자와 후원업체도 모집합니다. 150~200명 정도 들어가는 공간을 찾고 있는데 블로거들이 모여서 서로의 생각과 문제의식을 털어놓고 토론하고 함께 즐기는 자리를 만들어보자는 게 이번 행사의 취지입니다.
참가자격도 자유, 발표주제도 자유롭게 잡으시면 됩니다. 발표자가 10명이면 발표시간을 10분씩, 20명이면 5분씩으로 줄이려고 하는데요. 프레젠테이션 파일을 준비하시고 포인트를 정확히 잡아 간단명료하게 자신의 생각을 정리하는 정도면 되겠죠. 시간이 짧으니까 큰 부담을 갖지 않으셔도 될 거고요. 이왕이면 많이많이 참석해 주시면 좋겠습니다. 참가비는 없습니다. 제가 장담하건데 정말 즐겁고 신나고 유쾌한 자리가 될 거라고 생각합니다.
이번 행사는 '새로운 사회를 여는 연구원'의 이대원 연구원이 제안하고 저와 태터앤미디어의 이성규 팀장이 합류해서 기획했습니다. 블로거들의 발표에 앞서 정태인 성공회대 교수와 김병권 새사연 부원장의 초청강연도 준비돼 있습니다. 인기가 좋으면 이런 모임을 주기적으로 개최할 계획입니다. 제가 준비하고 있는 '다른경제(www.anothereconomy.com)'의 블로거들도 많이 참여해 주시면 고맙겠습니다.
